Dave and his team worked with us every step of the way to achieve our lofty goal of adding lots of natural light and an egress to our below-grade basement. They engineered a fantastic solution that called for excavating along the side of our house, carefully placing a recessed boulder wall in the earth and opening up the foundation wall to add two 10-foot-long sets of windows.

This amazing design radically changed the entire basement. We don’t even like to call it a basement anymore. With such an open feeling to the outdoors and tons of sunlight, it’s more like a lower level!

Now that the space is flooded with natural light, our young children have embraced their beautiful new play area. In the open concept floor plan design, we were able to include defined areas for a playroom, long desk niche, kitchen beverage center, family room, half bathroom and an enclosed gym.

Our new space flows seamlessly with the rest of our home. About Space Builders carefully specified the same high-quality materials and finishes to match.

The entire team was talented, friendly and extremely professional. It was obvious that they took pride in the quality of their work and attention to detail.
